The Fletcher Creek Drainage Basin District is being proposed to establish additional protection against flooding within the Fletcher Creek Basin in Shelby County. New development or expansion of development within the Fletcher Creek Basin will be required to submit an application for administrative site plan review.

Flood protection measures will include filling properties to raise the elevation of new developments to a minimum of 2.5 feet above base flood elevation as well as stormwater detention and flood plain capacity. For additional information contact Land Use Control Section at 576-6619.
