| LAND USE CONTROL BOARD |
| The Land Use Control Board (LUCB) is a group of citizens appointed by the Mayor of the City of Memphis and the Mayor of Shelby County to hold monthly public hearings on zoning-related and subdivision-related applications. The LUCB only has the authority to make recommendations on zoning-related applications which must proceed for final action before either the Memphis City Council and/or the Shelby County Board of Commissioners. The LUCB has the authority to take final action on subdivision applications unless an application is appealed to the legislative body or bodies. |
